The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department for the entire organization. This role entails the management of the accounting team, overseeing the organization daily accounting operations, generating reports for senior management, and liaising with government organization for taxes and VAT as well as working with auditors. Financial reporting will also be required.
Job Responsibilities
• Managing team of accountants for daily accounting operations.
• In charge of accounts payab, cash receipts, treasury, ledger, payroll and banking.
• Cash forecasting, analysis and budgeting.
• Producing accounting reports and financial reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Provide financial recommendations.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Coordinate and complete quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Overview company credit, assets, and debt.
• Overview and control client debts.
• Overview and control accounting across the country, including service centers, branches, and warehouses.
• Overview supplier payments.
• Works closely with procurement, marketing, and sales teams.
• Creates monthly reports, including cash-flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Conducts monthly review of all accounts.
• Oversees daily financial activities.
• Prepares end-of-year reports and statements.
• Manage balance sheets and prof statements.
• Advises managers on purchasing and all other financial decisions.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
