Job Description

Looking for an Accounta admin for a media production company in Dubai. Female with Tally knowledge and Vat return filing experience. Must be able to join immediately. UAE experience of at least 3-4 years. Independent and able to work autonomously.

ACCOUNTS

•Complete handling of all accounts from petty cash to confirmation of audited accounts.
•VAT return filing
•Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
•Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
•Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
•Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
•Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
•Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
•Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
•Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
•Secure financial information by completing data base backups.
•Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
•Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
•Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
•Comply with government legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
•Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
•Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge of all aspects of the company’s accounting
•Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•Reporting to the CEO
•Attention to Detail and deadline-Oriented reporting
•Handle petty cash
OFFICE ADMIN
•Organizing travel and travel itineraries.
•Managing and reviewing filing and office systems.
•Maintain the company mailing list.
•Assisting with presentations.
•Answering calls and relaying messages.
•Managing front de – enquiries etc.
•Sourcing and ordering stationery and office equipment.
•Creating databases & keeping these regularly updated (Directors, suppliers, crew, freelancers, clients etc.)
•Checking *** emails daily (replying to job applicants etc.)
•Creating, assisting with and managing company systems, processes and other functions (templates crew used from locations, directors proposed on jobs etc.)
•Ad hoc offi support.
•Production and office runs as directed.


Candidate Requirements

Female with Tally knowledge and Vat return filing experience.
Must be able to join immediately.
UAE experience of at least 3-4 years.
Independent and able to work autonomously.
