We are hiring a controller to expand our operation of transport solutions. Candidate has to be detail oriented and proactive by playing crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination of transportation activities guaranteeing timely deliveries and maintaining clear communication with our drivers.
Candidate will be tracking drivers real time location and progress to ensure timely arrivals and departure. Address and solve any issue that may affect delivery schedule promptly.
Ensure all transportation jobs have complete and accurate details including addresses, contact information, and specific data. Maintain record of job details to be accessible and clear for all relevant parties.
Communicate job details and changes effectively to drivers providing clear instructions and updates. Attend incoming calls from drivers, clients and other stakeholders. To record inquiries and concerns professionally and in timely manner.
Payment verification and confirmation for the completed jobs need to be handled proactively. Collaborate with finance department to address any payment discrepancies or issues promptly.
Assist in scheduling transportation jobs, taking into account driver availability, vehicle capacity, and delivery timeliness.
Proactively identify and resolve transportation issues such as delays, route change, vehicle malfunction, minor maintenance etc.
Generate regular report on transportation activities including on time performance, issues, encountered and resolution implemented for management and board of directors.
Proven experience in Logistics or transport coordinator / controller role.
Excellent communication skills English (written / verbal); Arabic (verbal)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Details oriented with focus on accuracy in job details and doentation.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing cirstances.
Familiarity with transportation management software and systems
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Proficient in using standard office software.
