Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a fast-growing entertainment startup with multiple entertainment projects and concepts across the region. Our client is looking to hire a startup experienced "HR Manager" to join and lead their Human Resources department. <br /> <br />Responsibilities include overseeing the recruitment process, updating company policies and setting objectives for the HR team. You will also help shape their hiring strategy. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar and experienced working in a Startup, including setting up payroll systems and managing growth. <br /> <br />Ultimately, you will manage how the company attracts, hires, develops and retains qualified employees. <br /> <br />Responsibilities <br />Set objectives for the HR team and track progress <br />Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment <br />Develop compensation and benefits plans <br />Support and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process <br />Host in-house recruitment events <br />Discuss employees' career development paths with managers <br />Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire) <br />Review departmental budgets <br />Organize learning and development programs <br />Ensure HR staff addresses employees' requests and grievances in a timely manner <br />Maintain HR procedures that comply with UAE labor regulations <br />Position reports to Managing Partner <br /> <br />Requirements <b>Experience: </b> <br />Minimum 5 years of HR professional experience in the UAE. Experience working with a startup is required. <br />University degree is required. Masters in HR is desired. <br />Experience managing HR for a fast-paced, high-volume, guest-centered business will be a plus <br /> <b>Professional and Personal Skills: </b> <br />Exceptional verbal & written communication skills in English. Other languages will be a plus <br />Proactive, highly motivated, self-starter with a result-oriented mindset. <br />Maintain composure and professionalism.
