Our client is now recruiting for a Legal Associate. You will be directly reporting to the Legal Head
Job Purpose
Legal Associate is responsible for administrator and legal tasks, including legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, communicating with clients, preparing hearings, trials, and meetings, and organizing and maintaining files. He /She had to have complete understandings of Practiced UAE Laws.
 
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Drafting, reviewing, completing, and filing legal paperwork related to business operations.
• Prepare, draft, and review documents (board resolutions, shareholders’ resolutions, articles of association, etc.) and powers of attorney
• Negotiating contract terms, transactions, and settlements on behalf of the businesses involved. Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare and ensure both standard and non-standard agreements and template documentation is enforceable in the court of law and the associated risk is adequately covered.
• Assigning and coordinating with external counsel to provide legal advice where necessary, including identifying issues for advice
• Suggest and advise on various legal matters such as commercial contracts, dispute resolution, regulatory, employment, and governance.
• Assisting businesses to prevent, navigate, and resolve complex legal issues.
• Researching and resolving legal disputes through the analysis of relevant laws, argument development, evidence collection, and legal representation.
• Managing multiple cases, and legal activities that carry varying deadlines.
• Advise on and handle contentious legal matters arising (including pre-litigation, litigations, and other proceedings).
• Assist in dealing with all legal matters relating to the sourcing and supply of contractors and provide advice on regulations, restrictive covenants, and insurance coverage provisions
• Assisting related personnel to update various types of required permits and licenses in accordance with the relevant updates on laws and regulations in a timely manner and provide guidance and support in respect of HR matters.
• Negotiate deals and attend company meetings.
• Represent and protect the Company and related entities from legal risks and violations.
