JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, working closely with the team to ensure successful closure of the sales process.
Understand customer needs and additionally make sales presentations.
Coordinates closely with internal sales and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
Secures from customer technical staff commitments are needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close.”
Help Sales team meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channels, or teams supported.
Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFI’s, RFQ’s (Request for Quote) & RFP’s (Request for proposal) and preparing them.
Liaise with the marketing team to undertake demand-generating activities.
Build lasting relationships with suppliers and expand the supplier base to elevate the company’s competency and standard in the majority of the products.
Estimate and establish costing strategies and budgets for purchases
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Review and analyze all vendo, supply, and price options
Negotiate the best deal for pricing
Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
