We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our team and help us manage our purchasing activities. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills and strong communication skills, as they will be responsible for coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that purchasing activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Negotiate the best terms and prices with vendors and suppliers.
Source and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
Monitor inventory and order levels to ensure availability of materials.
Track and record all purchases and invoices.
Assist in resolving any purchasing-related issues.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Prepare reports as needed.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
