Job summary:
Provide accurate and timely analysis to ensure physiochemical and do the microbiological integrity of our products, supporting the assessment of packaging and raw materials quality and auditing of the plant to comply with HACCP, GMP and Company requirements.
Principle Responsibilities:
Conducting Microbiological Integrity of our Products and Ensuring Safety
- Assure the performance of the CIP (Cleaning In Place) for all lines, tanks, mixers and fillers, and assure the overall sanitation and personal hygiene in the plant.
- Select product to be sampled for testing from each production run utilizing the standard methodology and specified frequency, outlined in the Company Quality Manual.
- Assure to record the results of all tests performed on Quality Test Results sheets.
- Assure to record the SOP check list for every product run.
- Ensure that the instrumentation used is correctly calibrated according to agreed procedure.
- Assure the calibration and maintaining the testing equipment, solutions and materials for tests, per the Company Quality Manual Procedures and Frequency.
- Collect Filler Valve water samples for Yeast& Mold testing from each production run utilizing the standard methodology and specified frequency
- Assure the completion of the Yeast test by the Microbiologist on each sampled product using approved equipment, solutions, and materials in accordance with the procedures and frequency specified in the Company Quality Manual
Supporting the Assessment of Packaging and Raw Materials Quality, Audit Report
- Assure producing quality package integrity without defects and hold or reject any out of specifications.
- Track the products and quantities of product dumped for quality reasons as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to quality control information
- Train new employees and maintain the laboratory facilities, equipment and reagents / media in a sanitary condition to ensure accurate and precise results are obtained
- Develop a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control point system for reducing or eliminating any hazard risk to product quality.
- Inform production and relevant operations personnel of approval, adjustments or corrective quality measures to be taken, where necessary, to prevent production of defective product.
