THE JOB
This is an upper level position and requires a mature professional individual with strong customer service and project management skills. The position requires great flexibility, strategic problem solving, strong leadership and the ability to independently manage multiple priority projects. A CMP is preferred as well as an ongoing interest in continuing industry education.
A Senior Event Manager is responsible in full for meetings and events of various sizes as well as working collaboratively with event stakeholders, logistics teams, registration, vendors and sponsors and exhibitors to produce corporate tradeshows and marketing events. They serve as the main logistics lead and business owner as well as a liaison between contractors, organizers, clients and management with regards to all facets of the programs and events. This person will be responsible for leveraging high level strategic, logistical and management expertise in order to deliver successful project solutions to external clients.

Remain current on new trends in exhibit design and industry trends
Independently or collaboratively plan and execute various events from start to finish of all sizes.
Work alongside strategic leads on larger logistics events
Work directly with clients to understand event goals and objectives
Maintain clear project plan and consistently manage vendor teams, v-teams, logistics teams and business owner teams to achieve execution excellence
Delegate and manage additional team members, as necessary, to projects according to area of expertise, skill sets, and interests
Manage event budgets and advise on site selection, contract negotiation, manage payments, vendor RFPs, SOWs, and other related issues as it pertains to budget.
Development and copywriting of event documentation and reporting
Maintain client relationships to ensure repeat business and new business opportunities
Develop strategies, reflective of sales and marketing goals of the client
Develop and maintain client budgets and revenue reporting
Manage floor plans
Collaborate with marketing teams for design, layout and production of event marketing materials
Copywrite logistics communications and marketing materials
Oversee onsite setup, logistics, and teardown
Modify existing processes and create new ones to manage the unique aspects of each show
Understand Microsoft rules and regulations surrounding procurement, privacy information, financial forecasting, budgeting and legal responsibilities.
Represent Dynamic Events with the utmost professionalism providing quality customer service while maintaining strong ethical work standards
Strong account management skills
Recognizing client needs and providing a customized solution to meet client goals and objectives.
