JOB DESCRIPTION & ROLE INFORMATION
Performs treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, and capital management. Being a Treasury Manager allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earning forecasts.
ROLE OUTLINE:
Typically reporting to the Managing Director, the Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s treasury function.
TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To efficiently measure and manage the treasury function, a Treasury Manager manages a team that performs a wide range of job duties and responsibilities. These include but are not limited to:
· Monitoring and managing the organization’s bank relationships and liquidity management
· Analyzing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management
· Forecasting of medium and long- term funding and hedging requirements (if applicable)
· Daily cash management
· Debt facilities management
· Interest rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies
· Preparing management and board reports
· Liaising with senior management across the organization
· Supporting the month end process where necessary
