2. Issuing invoices, following up on overdue payments, and maintaining records of accounts receivable.
3. Processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records of accounts payable.
4. Helping with payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries and deductions.
5. Handling correspondence, filing doents, and maintaining organized financial records.
6. Utilizing accounting software (PEACHTREE, Sage 50 Accounting) and systems effectively to perform tasks and generate reports.
7. Greeting and Welcoming Visitors.
8. Managing incoming calls, transferring calls to appropriate personnel or departments, taking messages accurately, and providing information to callers as needed.
9. Sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages. You may also be responsible for preparing outgoing mail and packages, including arranging for courier services when necessary.
10. Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
