Roles & Responsibilities
•Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
•Perform bank reconciliation and recording the bank transactions
•Recording the petty cash transaction and undertake petty cash reconciliation.
•Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports for the finance manager to review.
•Documents financial transactions by entering account information
•Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
•Performs other assignments as required from time to time by the management.
•Assist in year-end closing and audits
•Preparation of all required tax returns for VAT and other regional taxes.
•Preparation of export documents.
Role Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field.
•A minimum of 2 years’ UAE experience in finance and accounting.
•Prior experience with VAT
•Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
•Technical expertise in accounting software Microsoft GP is a plus.
