Key Responsibilities:
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced ACCOUNTANT to work in our Travel Agency based in Dubai. Your duties will include the following:
•Knowledgeable in UAE Taxation and Accounting Software Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
•Recording of Day-to-Day Transaction in Accounting System.
•Handle and process the Petty Cash Payments.
•Managing accounts receivables and accounts payables.
•Processing Journal Entries to the General Ledger.
•Bank Account Reconciliation.
•Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliation
•Tracking and Maintaining Fixed Assets
•Preparing Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Reports
•Assists in preparation of P&L forecasts as well as supporting annual budget preparation
•Keeping up to date with currency fluctuations.
•Excellent in analytical and problem-solving skills
•Strong and in-depth understanding of accounting.
Languages: English, Arabic
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in travel and tourism Industry UAE.
•Knowledge of standard Travel Industry reporting policies, procedures and regulations.
•Familiarity with Galileo, Amadeus, or Sabre ticket portal.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills? Self-motivated, energetic and able to achieve high results.
•Bachelor's degree in Business.
•Computer Literacy. Proficient with Windows Systems- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
