Position Overview:
As an Accounts Executive at TEAM SPIRIT FACADE, you will play a vital role in managing the financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients on outstanding payments.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor variances against actual performance.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Audit Support: Assist external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary doentation and information.
Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely payment of invoices.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in accounting and financial operations.
Ad-hoc Tasks: Undertake any other accounting or finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements is desirable.
