Al-Alam is looking for an excellent Administrative Assistant to join the team to help assist with a large set of our administrative duties.
This position requires a highly organized individual with top-notch communication skills and a proactive attitude. The successful candidate will ensure the successful and efficient day-to-day operation of our business operations.
The Administrative Assistant should possess excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills. They should also be detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of day-to-day clerical duties. The right candidate will also have a professional demeanor, the ability to multi-task, and the desire to contribute to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer and direct customer inquiries and ensure customers are treated respectfully and their needs are addressed in a timely manner
• Greet and provide customer service to visitors
• Schedule and coordinate meetings
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Manage databases
• Tabulate data and prepare reports
• Assist in the organization of existing filing systems
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning
• Maintain a calendar and schedule appointments
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous administrative experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Problem-solving abilities
• Professional demeanor
• Willingness to learn
