Key duties and responsibilities:
•Provide an exceptional applicant experience and strive to continuously improve service delivery
•Monitor and review key performance indicators ensuring that application and offer making response times are met.
•Regularly communicate with others, for example producing and presenting reports and explaining policies and procedures
•Work closely with the team to coordinate the day to day processes and prioritization of tasks to ensure deadlines are met and the work is of a high standard
•Review applications and make decisions based on agreed entry requirements, referring to academic staff where appropriate
•Take ownership of the fee status assessment process ensuring that decisions are taken in line with Fees Regulations and that you are up to date with changes to regulations
•Act as the lead person for all matters relating to international qualifications, ensuring that qualifications are benchmarked appropriately and you are up to speed with emerging markets
•Work closely with the Regional Recruitment Manager and International to ensure smooth and efficient ways of working with international recruitment teams.
•Lead on the admission processes of direct international and international partnership students, optimizing the experience of applicants and partners
•Take on the line management of team members, providing support and identifying training and development needs
•Use initiative to resolve problems which arise such as resolving issues regarding processes and workload and resolving applicant issues
•Manage projects and contribute to longer term planning within the area as part of the local management team
•Experience of managing a team
•Detailed knowledge of overseas qualifications
•Ability to coach, motivate, assess and manage team members, including setting objectives
•Competent in the use of relevant IT packages (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook) including student record or CRM systems
•Proven relevant experience in higher education administration which will have been acquired over a number of years, with a basic understanding of the relevant theory
•Good knowledge and understanding of relevant legal, statutory and and best practice within Higher Education and turning them into good practice
•Excellent interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills, able to understand and communicate complex issues effectively
•Demonstrable excellent customer service
•Demonstrable ability to work quickly, flexibly and accurately in a dynamic, changing and pressured environment.
•Experience of working closely with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
•Ability to research, analyses and present complex information effectively with good attention to detail.
