Assistant Manager for a Cafe located in Al Wasl, Dubai.
Responsible for the general daily operations of the café, such as being in charge of assigning duties for the staff, assisting with sales reports, etc.
- In charge of implementing SOPs by educating the staff of the procedures for various situations and providing necessary disciplinary actions for any violations. In addition to this, creating a updating new procedures to cover further conditions as required.
- Must be capable in consistently motivating staff to maintain a high level of efficiency and standard in the service.
- In an event of customer service situations, it is a responsibility to act proactively to prevent a solve these situations in a professional and timely manner.
- Must be knowledgeable of the menu, as to provide assistance to customers with food a drink choices, along with the opportunity to upsell items.
- Responsible in ensuring the café is kept in great aesthetic standard by making sure that staff are proactive in maintaining cleanliness throughout the café, and additionally, along with the Head Chef, also responsible in ensuring that the kitchen and items are sustained in a clean and safe manner.
- Preparing staff scheduling with the management team to plan out the staffing for the month.
- Assist in marketing responsibilities, and as such; must be capable of coming up with creative ideas in the form of promotions a events with the marketing team, in an effort to boost potential sales for the café.
Must be capable of handling a cafe environment, which would include assisting in managing the front bar along with the kitchen staff.
