Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with lead teachers to support the learning and development of students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine desire to contribute to the growth and well-being of young learners.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with lead teachers to plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.
Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
Support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth, providing guidance and encouragement.
Help manage classroom activities, including group work, projects, and hands-on learning experiences.
Supervise students during class, recess, and other activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students who may need additional support.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
Collaborate with other team members and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
Uphold and promote the values and policies of the educational institution.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with children and contributing to their educational and emotional development.
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Knowledge of child development and effective teaching strategies.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Familiarity with educational technology and tools is an asset.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
