Allocate job cards to various bays and monitor the work done on the cars. Ensure strict implementation of company rules, regulations and procedures (including warranty) within company policies Communicate the time required to complete the task to the service advisor Ensure the sourcing communication to purchase team of all the parts, spares & consumables required to complete the work Offer technical inputs to the technicians, wherever required. Monitor schedule adherence and take corrective actions in case of time overruns. Communicate any time any time and cost overruns to the service advisor. Manage the quality of work done on multiple bays, simultaneously. Conduct a check on the vehicles in workshop area, to ensure that all jobs mentioned in the job card have been completed as per quality guidelines. Maintain good shop floor efficiency for quick & timely vehicle delivery and good profitability. Ensure Technicians’ optimum utilization, productivity and efficiency. Ensure proper job distribution, control and follow-up so that work is done correctly and as per schedule. Ensure quality work for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention by minimizing repeat jobs hence increasing total workshop efficiency. Carries out road test before commencing job to confirm the complaint and test (static & dynamic) later to confirm effectiveness of repair. Possess some knowledge on automotive. Strong communication skills. Team worker - Ability to train and lead a team. Proficient in the use of the computer and MS Software.
