Overview:
Sabaya and Tea Restaurant is seeking a skilled and creative Beverage Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will craft a wide range of high-quality beverages, including fresh juices, hot teas, coffees, and signature drinks, while delivering exceptional customer service in a warm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
oCreate and serve fresh juices, hot and cold teas, coffees, and specialty beverages.
oInnovate and develop new beverage recipes to enhance the menu.
oProvide a friendly and personalized experience for all guests.
oAddress customer inquiries about beverages and recommend drinks based on preferences.
oEnsure the consistent quality and presentation of all beverages.
oMaintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in the preparation area.
oMonitor and manage stock levels of ingredients, ensuring timely replenishment.
oCoordinate with suppliers to source high-quality products.
oWork closely with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
oAssist in training junior team members on beverage preparation techniques.
oOperate and maintain equipment like juicers, blenders, and coffee machines.
oReport any equipment issues promptly to management.
oUpsell beverages and promote seasonal specials to enhance sales.
oParticipate in menu planning and contribute to promotional campaigns.
Qualifications and Skills:
•Proven minimum 2 years experience as a Beverage Specialist, Barista, or in a similar role.
•Strong knowledge of fresh juice preparation, coffee brewing techniques, and tea varieties.
•Creativity in developing and presenting beverages.
•Excellent customer service and communication skills.
•Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
•Familiarity with hygiene and food safety standards.
•Basic inventory and stock management skills.
