Job Title: Business Finance Manager
Job Description: As a Finance Manager at Jars Al Madeena, a company dealing with a chain of supermarkets and real estate, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the organization's financial operations. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around company finance management and personal account management, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and monitor financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Conduct regular financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize liquidity and working capital. Implement effective cash management strategies and oversee cash flow forecasting.
Budget Management: Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets. Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide financial guidance to improve cost efficiency.
Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Implement cost control measures and provide recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
Financial Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, including market risks, credit risks, and operational risks. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.
Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve any identified issues.
Personal Account Management: Oversee personal account management, including payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and tax compliance. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Completion of CMA India Intermediate or CMA USA certification, MCOM, MBA in finance or MIM
Work Experience: Prior experience in finance management roles, preferably in the retail industry or real estate sector, is highly desirable. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is typically required.
Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial information effectively to stakeholders at various levels.
Leadership and Teamwork: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in financial software and tools such as ERP systems, Excel, and financial modeling software.
Additional Requirements:
Work Location: UAE, Sharjah.
Driving License: Possession of a valid driving license is a plus.
