The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cafe operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality food and beverage offerings, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities:
Hire, train, and supervise cafe staff, including baristas, kitchen staff, and servers
Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal efficiency
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance customer service and streamline operations
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to achieve profitability targets
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote cafe events and specials
Requirements:
Previous experience in cafe or restaurant management
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
