CHARTERED SURVEYOR – MRICS VALUER
Opportunity for an experienced Chartered Surveyor – MRICS Valuer to join a reputable Valuation Firm. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge, good business aen, people management skills and have experience working in Dubai.
The role will have mix type of valuation work for a range of top tier clients, including banks, developers, investors, lending institutions, owners and occupiers who rely on our reports to make their financial decisions.
You will be expected to work in a dynamic environment as Head of the Department and to lead a team of Valuers. Motivate and supervise the team in a timely, effective and encouraging manner for carrying out the valuation assignments while ensuring the quality of work delivered. You will also support other Heads of the Department in business development objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct valuation assignments including inspection, valuation, site notes by applying expert knowledge and awareness of the local property market
- Reach to a justifiable conclusion on valuations for the work undertaken.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations of valuation from the data collected, and advice and satisfy the client.
- Cooperate with clients and ensure high quality advice is consistently delivered.
- Take day to day responsibility for the execution of instructions under minimum supervision. And manage multiple instructions the same time efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise and support junior team members by reviewing reports and providing technical advices.
- Counsel, manage and develop graduates taking their RICS qualifications.
- Work closely with senior team members on high profile instructions.
- Maintain database of information by coordinating with the research and valuation team
Requirements:
1. MRICS Valuer, Must be Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
2. In-depth knowledge of UAE and particularly Dubai Real Estate Market is essential.
3. Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal, spoken and written.
5. Committed to mentoring junior staff and having good ability in managing people.
6. Demonstration of strategic thinking and rigorous analytical skills.
7. Ability to priorities and coordinate tasks efficiently and ensuring all deadlines are met.
8. Strong drive for accuracy and exceptional attention to details.
9. Valid UAE driving license.
10. Available on short notice for early joining
