• Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.
• Develop and review risk and compliance policies.
• Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
• Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
• Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
• Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
• Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
• Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance.
• The candidate, must possess sound knowledge of all applicable A Laws, Regulations, Notices, the Standards and other relevant international best practices.
• Ensure day-to-day compliance of the business against internal A policies and procedures;
• Provide necessary reports to the Board of Directors (or to the Own where there is no Board of Directors) on all A issues, on a quarterly basis at a minimum.
• Propose actions required to address gaps, if any.
• Conduct regular gap analysis between the exchange existing A Procedures and current Laws, Regulations, Notices and the Standards of the UAE in order to determine the extent of the company’s level.
• Prepare Bi-Annual Compliance Reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field.
• 3 – 8 years’ proven experience in a compliance officer role.
• CAMS certification is a must.
• Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
• Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
