We are seeking a capable Contracting Manager to oversee and manage our contracting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, exceptional project management skills, and a proven ability to effectively manage teams and ensure the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee and manage all aspects of contracting operations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
•Plan and schedule construction projects, allocating resources effectively and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
•Manage and supervise project managers and construction teams, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure work is performed to the highest standards.
•Monitor and report on project progress to the Managing Partner, identifying any issues or risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
•Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to maintain effective communication and resolve any project-related challenges.
•Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all staff.
•Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the contracting operations.
•Monitor and report on financial performance and budgets for the contracting operations.
•At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role overseeing contracting operations.
•Experience working in the UAE is a must, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
•Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
•Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
•In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
•Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•Proficiency in ERP and construction management software and tools.
