We are retailer & wholesaler of books and stationery with a physical store and presence on third party e-Commerce portals. The remote part-time position will see you leading the way with e-Commerce and marketing communications of the company, as an all-rounder specialist reporting to the general manager. Starting from scratch, you will handle the website frontend, social media pages, digital advertising, branding, content creation and ema campaigns by coordinating with the existing technical and sales teams and via new service providers, as necessary, to ultimately develop and increase traffic, enquiries and sales through the website and the physical stores
· Taking brand ownership and devising the brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition
· Leading marketing strategy and innovation through the development and implementation of comprehensive digital marketing, offline marketing and ecommerce programs in line with business priorities
· Work closely with different teams (technical development, sales teams) to provide updated content that will be shared across e-Commerce and social media platforms.
· Managing the front end of the website, ensuring the best and fresh experience for visitors converting visits to sales.
· Planning and execution of unified communications and media actions across offline, online and social media
Digital Marketing
· Managing the social media pages, inducing organic growth, and maintaining an active social calendar and creating content for posts
· Planning and executing viral marketing campaigns across a range of social media platforms.
· Planning and control of the digital marketing budget and spend by allocating budgets to different channels, Driving performance marketing via Facebook Ads, Display Ads,Customer Acquisition Funnels and other means
· Analyzing the results and effectiveness of campaigns to deliver actionable insights and recommendations and generating monthly reports on the digital marketing portfolio.
· Testing and optimizing marketing tactics that boost conversion rates and accelerate customer acquisition.
E-Commerce Frontend
· Working with developer team to optimize Website UX, accessibility, speed and user friendliness across all aspects of the website, incorporating latest and best practices
· Strategically plan, design and create product collections, pages, content updates and featured shops based on inventory needs and marketing priorities
· Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
· Increase organic traffic growth via search engines
· Regularly monitoring user analytics and using these insights to drive strategies to secure sales and improve customer engagement.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experienced in Ecommerce Site Merchandising & UX
Analytical, process-oriented, and comfortable with data analysis tools
Equally comfortable co-developing a strategy & also implementing it along with the sales teams
Familiarity with Web Analytics tools.
A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration within an organization
Comfortable with graphic design applications and creating graphic content for social media, banners, and website
Strong interest in understanding and driving user behavior
Demonstrative skills in handling many assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
