Job description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Electrical Junior Planning Engineer to strengthen our growing team.
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON’T HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ELECTRICAL PLANNING WORKS.
RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
· Development of baseline EPC schedules followed by look ahead / Accelerated / Recovery Schedules (up to required levels) using P6.
· Develop contract key dates, milestones and company plan dates that align with the overall project schedule.
· Liaise and coordinate with discipline engineers, contractors, licensors, advisor & PMC for an overall integrated execution schedule.
· Develop the activities, logic, resources and progress for the assigned project sub-elements, leading to the creation of the baseline schedule and its subsequent maintenance.
· Develop, implement and comply with the planning and progress monitoring procedures.
· Liaise with Engineering personnel to ensure proper understanding of the key schedule sensitivities and drivers
· Conduct the schedule week progress update, forecast, critical path and trend analyses for assigned elements, including any impact from interface areas.
· Assess and incorporate the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and identification of alternate approaches to optimize the plans.
· Raises alert on potential delays in advance, keep record of delay events and changes early stage in the project lifecycle in order to prepare impact analysis for EOT claims
· Attend projects kick off, progress meeting, Review of MOM and comment on it
· Develop contract sections for planning and progress reporting. Review and verify contractors reported progress and ensure that this is reflected in the project schedule.
· Track the criticality of the main paths to completion and float consumption. Implement and utilize the standard tools and processes.
· Coordinates with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Construction managers. Collects inputs of design and monitor pre-and post-contract schedule
· Participate in preparing technical submittal for pre-tenders.

•Available in UAE and can join immediately.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience
•Required for MEP Contracting Company in Abu Dhabi
•Equivalence Certificate
•Must have any of the following ADQCC:
oADQCC- Electrical Engineer
oADQCC- Assistant Electrical Engineer
oADQCC- Senior Electrical Engineer
oADQCC- Technical Supervisor
