Prepare competitive estimates in accordance with company procedures to secure profitable business for the company.
• Responsible for costing, estimation of enquiries and tenders, filling up and submission of tenders in time.
• Handled tendering proposal, Bill of Material, techno-commercial documentation, and cost estimation of the projects.
• Reviewed tender documentation and identified the key elements of the proposal in accordance with company policies, procedures and commercial best practices.
• Finalized the Tender and fine-tuned all the detailed calculations as projected in the tender documentation.
• Prepare technical offers in line with the tender specs involving project methodology, realistic estimates of construction activities.
• Obtained feedback from site teams on estimating adequacy and current costs.
• Managed the quantity surveying activities from the inception of the project till handling over.
• Participate in discussions regarding quantity surveying issues with the contractor, subcontractors, and the program management team.
• Attend the project progress meetings throughout the duration of the project and assisted the project manager to ensure that the quantity surveying functions are implemented to the highest standards.
Have good knowledge and experience of estimation process in interior fit out environment.
Membership of an appropriate professional body.
Ideally experienced in the use of spreadsheets, estimating pricing models and cost management tools.
Good IT system knowledge and skills including advance excel skills.
