We are seeking a highly experienced candidate to serve as an Executive Chef in a palace in KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an army of kitchen porters and overseeing the day to day running of the kitchen. The ideal individual will have strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A male with previous experience in a similar role, working for high profile individuals a Micheline Star Restaurants and have 5 star Hotels experience. Candidate must be well versed in food plating, presentations and proficient in food quality control.
Key responsibilities and duties:
The Executive Chef will ensure the following:
· Supervises and coordinates activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel and purchases or requisitions foodstuffs and kitchen supplies.
Supervises noncooking personnel, such as stewards and helpers, to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
· Supervises chefs and tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards
· Supervises workers engaged in inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies
Works with kitchen staff to source ingredients and create recommended meals
Monitors kitchen operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards
Coordinates recipe development and standardization
Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance
· Trains new workers
