Job Purpose:
Achieving functional goals of the Nursing Department, namely:
1. Implementing basic nursing functions to ensure high level of health care for
patients.
2. Planning, distributing, and coordinating duties of nursing staff.
3. Applying principles, and rules of public safety during duty.
1) Provide medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician, such as
giving medicines and injections, taking laboratory sampling, measuring vital signs,
operating medical treatment tools, and alike.
2) Observing and reporting patients symptoms and abnormal signs during its duty.
3) Processing, preparing, and sterilizing the necessary tools to carry out the duties of
nursing, or surgical operations.
4) Registering all applied duties and procedures carried out to the patient into its
medical record.
5) Applying infection control and safety procedures to provide safe, clean, and
comfortable environment for patients and operating staff.
• Administrative Duties:
1) Maintaining high level of quality in its work and duties.
2) Participating in regular meetings of the department.
3) Proposing procedures and policies that may improve performance within the
department.
4) Maintaining administrative circulars pertaining to its work.
5) Keeping section administration aware of all occurring changes and developments
among its work and duties.
6) complying to any other tasks or responsibilities entrusted by the department
administration.
