Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Freelance Pilates Instructor OR Yoga Instructor to lead engaging and effective sessions for a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both Pilates or Yoga methodologies and demonstrate the ability to tailor classes to meet the needs of individuals and groups. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to create a positive impact on clients' wellness journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver personalized and group Pilates or Yoga classes, catering to various skill levels and goals.
Develop customized workout plans and offer modifications as needed to accommodate clients' physical abilities and limitations.
Provide guidance on proper technique, form, and alignment to ensure client safety and effectiveness.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, offering encouragement and support.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and research in Pilates or Yoga to enhance teaching methods and class content.
Manage class schedules, bookings, and cancellations efficiently.
Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and ready for use.
Promote wellness and a balanced lifestyle through holistic approaches.
Qualifications:
Certified Pilates Instructor (e.g., PMA or equivalent) or Yoga Instructor (e.g., RYT 200 or 500).
Proven experience teaching Pilates or Yoga to various skill levels.
Strong understanding of anatomy, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Flexibility to adapt class content based on individual and group needs.
