We are seeking a qualified and compassionate occupational therapist (OT) or behavior therapist to join in Dubai and support our son, a non-verbal child in KG2 at Millennium School Dubai who is on the autism spectrum.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life. You will provide one-on-one support in both the classroom setting and at home after school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with teachers at School Dubai to understand his Individualized Education Program (IEP).
•Implement evidence-based strategies to support learning and development in the classroom.
•Facilitate communication and social interaction skills development.
•Develop and implement a program to help him learn and practice daily living skills such as self-care, dressing, and personal hygiene.
•Provide one-on-one support during after-school hours to reinforce learning and address specific needs.
•Maintain clear communication with parents regarding progress and challenges.
Desired Qualifications:
•Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
•Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
•Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
•Reliable, organized, and passionate about supporting children with special needs.
