The Gemstone (Corundum) Chief Consultant is responsible for both product planning and product marketing in the international gemstone (corundum) markets. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product’s brand vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning results. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Gemstone (Corundum) Chief Consultant’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
The Gemstone (Corundum) Chief Consultant is expected to:
Define the product strategy and roadmap to promote product in the international gemstone (corundum) markets
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Be an expert with respect to the competition in the gemstone (corundum) market
Act as a leader within the company
Communicate with creative marketing agency
Carry out an assessment and a certification of rare stones
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager in Gemstone (corundum) industry
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
10 + years of experience in a job in the gemstone (corundum) market
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
Technical background, with experience in gemstone business
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
