Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Civil Engineer with a proven track record of success in structural steel fabrication to lead as General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, fabrication techniques, and project management methodologies. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our fabrication operations, from planning and scheduling to quality control and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement strategic plans for the Structural Steel Fabrication Division, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
•Manage and supervise all aspects of fabrication operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.
•Lead a team of experienced engineers and fabricators, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.
•Develop and implement strategies to identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
•Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building relationships with key stakeholders and promoting the company's capabilities.
•Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure that the division remains competitive and innovative.
•Manage the flow of projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure product meets or exceeds industry standards. Optimize inventory management and procurement processes to minimize costs.
•Develop and manage the annual operating budget. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement. Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
•Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards. Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
•Well-versed with all major steel fabrication operations and develop further company’s present capabilities: All types of welding, testing, surface treatment such as sand & grit blasting, painting, powder coating & galvanizing etc. all types of steel pipe & support fabrication, vessels, structural steel & plate fabrications.

• Possess technical proficiency as well as a business aen & commercial judgment.

• Modern production technology savory and open-mind for adopting new technology and concepts, and fully abreast with new developments in the industry.
• Exceptional inter-personal & communication skills (both verbal & written), including negotiating, persuasive and presentation skills
• Excellent marketing skills and business sense for achieving results
• Skills in dealing with and developing potential clients like Saudi Aramco, main contractors, industrial clients, consultants in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
• Practical application of HR, Finance, Operations and Strategic Management in the day to day business.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
•A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural steel fabrication, with a proven track record of managing and leading large-scale projects.
•Experience in all aspects of structural steel fabrication, including design, fabrication, and erection.
•Excellent project management skills, with a strong ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
•Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve high performance.
•Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and project management software.
Additional Requirements:
•A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
•Experience in managing and leading a large factory or manufacturing facility.
•A proven track record of success in improving efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
•A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of operations.
