They supply to the Building Services, Energy & Industrial sectors.
They currently employ over 1,000 staff.
An opportunity has become available for a Group HR Manager to join the business.
A strong and experienced HR Professional to manage & head our Group Human Resources Department and Strategic Business Planning & Operations specifically supporting the HR Functions - HR Planning & Development , Talent acquisition, HR administrative functions, people & relationship management, succession planning, competency mapping, capability building, staff training and implementation of cost control measures.
Function & Responsibilities
Drive annual Manpower Budget planning process for over 1,000 employees and workers.
Design and develop HR policies, procedures, establish workflows, SAP DMS, HRMS, EPICOR etc.
Prepare & define job description, job evaluation, promotions and salary revie and amended HR policies & procedures.
Proficient in streamlining process encompassing employee engagement & retention, reward & compensation, corporate policy, change management, performance management and ISO implementation.
Drive initiatives on continuous workforce development and establishing a culture of excellence.
Capability to formulate new systems & policies and turn them into life and action within the organization; changing culture through talent management, training and progression planning.
Managing & directing outsourced corporate learning and development company strategy and product solutions in support of a diverse range of performance improvement solutions across multiple verticals.
Provided strategic & operational leadership in driving large workforce and confidently contributing to the strategic HR agenda by crafting robust performance management frameworks and driving culture change.
Plan human resource functions; implement HR transformation.
Leverage existing diagnostic tools such as Employee Survey, Performance planning and management design using the balanced scorecard, and Human Resource Metrics and defining and implementing HR strategies in alignment with organizational objectives
Designing and implementing HR strategy to meet short-term & long term business challenges with focus on the key areas such as talent & leadership, culture & values, engagement, supervisory capability, productivity & cost.
Designing and implementing a comprehensive performance management, competency & compensation framework to support the business and build robust recruitment and engagement processes to achieve ambitious growth plans.
Support efforts to initiate top grading in the organization to enhance bench strength and the retention of key talent through succession planning, executive development, etc.
Performance Appraisal strategy & implementation, HSE regulations, develop CPP - Career progression path division wise.
Conduct exit interviews and handle termination and required cancellation procedures as per UAE labor law. Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation.
Maintain employee relations, advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relation’s issues.
Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with the UAE Labor Law. Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
