Reporting to: Chief Operations Officer
Key Accountabilities:
• Responsible for monitoring Food processing and Production, Workflow, Raw material and Finished Product Quality, Production Scheduling, Inventory Control, Food Cost and Quality Assurance
• Communicate with the Chief Operations Officer
Key Tasks
• Ensures food is produced in a healthy, clean, and hygienic environment and premises throughout.
• Direct the most efficient, economical, and highest quality food production and receipt of raw material
• Controlling underproduction and overproduction to ensure meeting production requirement to reduce waste and increase production efficiency
• Responsible for compliance of the Quality Assurance Program, opening and closing check list, production evaluation form, finished and packaged goods evaluation and retention of samples
• Complete all control documentation and production records as instructed by his line manager in order to achieve HACCP, SFDA and Safe Food Standards accreditation
• Suggest and recommend changes, reduction or addition in overall factory working hours, recipes setting and adjustment, staff levels, problem areas, or capital equipment needs
• Responsible for training and performance improvement of all subordinates and production crew
• Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time and resources efficiently, plans for additional resources, integrates changes smoothly, sets goals and objectives and works in an organized manner
• Monitors own work to ensure quality, keeps abreast of current industry developments
• Follows instructions, responds to management direction
• Ensure security of the stock of the goods and maintain the production facilities in a sanitary working condition as stipulated in the cleaning schedule and in accordance with the cleaning specification issued by the technical department in line with the requirements of the HACCP Food Standard
• Ensure that your teams maintain a clean and presentable work area at all times
• Ensure all supplies, materials and equipment are available in assigned work areas for proper performance of duties; maintain replenishment as necessary
• Report Equipment malfunctions, request any need to repair equipment, furniture, building and fixtures in a timely manner as to prevent production down times and reduction in productivity
• Develops innovative approaches and ideas and Identifies problems in a timely manner
• Develops alternative solutions and resolves problems in early stages
• Exhibits confidence in self and others
• Reacts well under pressure, shows courage, and uses initiative to take action and motivates others to perform well
• Attend to your duties at times specified by your line manager and dictated by work levels
• Ensure that the current company systems and procedures are followed at all times
• Inform your line manager of any holiday or leave requests that you may have
• Agree to carry out any reasonable request by members of the management team.
• Ensure you contribute to efficient rates of productivity within your area of work as directed by your line manager.
• To assist in disciplinary investigations as and when required
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Good Level of Scholastic Training
Professional food preparation training, Work requires communications, organizational and food production supervision skills generally acquired through completion of food processing studies or equivalent traditionally trained, with major concentration in food preparation management or related field
Formal Food Hygiene and Safety training, Formal HACCP Training
Related Experience:
Preferably minimum two-years previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment, food preparation operation or related area to acquire skills necessary to manage a food production area
