As an Academy Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the overall operations of the academy, with a specific focus on enrollments and business generation. You will play a key role in driving growth, managing the team, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the academy. Your leadership and business aen will be crucial in achieving enrollment targets and maintaining high-quality training programs.
Responsibilities:
Enrollments and Business Generation: Develop and implement strategies to drive enrollments and generate business for the academy. Identify target markets, conduct market research, and create marketing plans to attract prospective students. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, lead generation initiatives, and partnerships with fitness clubs, corporations, and other relevant organizations.
Team Management and Coordination: Lead and manage a team of instructors, administrative staff, and academic counsellors. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure the team's effectiveness.
Student Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective students. Develop student retention strategies, such as personalized guidance, progress tracking, and exceptional customer service. Address student inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.
Curriculum Development and Program Enhancement: Collaborate with the instructional team to develop and enhance fitness training programs, ensuring they align with industry standards and meet the needs of students.
Operational Efficiency: Monitor and ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations, including class scheduling and administrative processes. Implement efficient systems and procedures to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Sales and Revenue Management: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to enrollments, revenue, and profitability. Develop sales strategies and initiatives to achieve revenue targets. Track sales metrics, assess performance, and implement corrective measures when necessary.
Partnerships and Networking: Cultivate relationships with fitness industry professionals, corporate clients, fitness clubs, and other relevant stakeholders. Explore partnership opportunities, collaborations, and sponsorships to expand the academy's reach and enhance its reputation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in an academy or training center.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Business development and sales experience, with a track record of achieving targets.
Familiarity with marketing strategies and lead generation techniques.
