Responsibilities:
Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, assist them in finding suitable seating, and provide menus.
Handle reservations, confirm guest details, and manage the seating chart efficiently.
Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and inviting for guests.
Relay information between guests and the serving staff, and communicate any special requests to the kitchen.
Respond to guest inquiries regarding menu items, restaurant policies, and any other relevant information.
Manage the waitlist during peak hours, providing accurate wait time estimates and keeping guests informed.
Address guest concerns or issues promptly and escalate to management if necessary, ensuring a positive resolution.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
