As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness are maintained at the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of housekeeping procedures.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners.
Ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained according to established standards and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
Train and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high levels of productivity.
Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new housekeeping team members.
Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of housekeeping practices and techniques, including cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be legally eligible to work in Dubai.
