Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent mannerSafety Inspection:
Regularly inspect plant facilities, work procedures, operating conditions, processes and tools are in order to identify safety hazards and provide advice on preventive measures. Prepare safety inspection reports for the benefit of the work location supervisor and the safety supervisorSafety Audit:
Participate in safety audits e.g., Permit to work Audit, in order to ensure compliance with safety procedures; submit variance reports to Safety SupervisorIncident Investigation:
Conduct preliminary investigations of incidents occurring in company locations e.g. examining incident sites, questioning victims and witnesses, preliminary identification of possible causes in order to understand the broad detail of the incident.
Maintain records of all incidents safety noncompliance reports and training sessions conducted and follow up on the corrective actions taken in order to ensure that similar incidents do not reoccur.Safety Awareness and Improvements:
Participate in Operations, Maintenance and Engineering (OMES) meetings in order to share safety ideas, spread Safety awareness and suggest safety improvements.
