I T Technical Support
We are looking for a competent IT Technical Support - Help Desk to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems, IT-related devices such as IP Cameras, Printers, Peripheral devices, and ERP System. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. Moreover, you will solve them by yourself as well.
An excellent technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and resolve the issue.
The goal is to maintain the IT infrastructure, so the daily routine of the employees and staff does not have to face any technical difficulties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Following are duties and responsibilities which are not limited to:
Serve as the first point of contact for employees and staff seeking technical assistance on-site, phone, and email.
Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by employees
Direct unresolved issues to the second level of support personnel
Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by employees and staff to the appropriate internal team
Identify and suggest possible improvements in procedures
Requirements
Proven experience as an IT Technical Support or other IT-related support role
Knowledge of the following:
Office 365 online admin - configurations & setup
CCTV Hikvision systems (control & operate)
Managed printer configurations & setup
IP Telephony configuration & setup
Firewall configuration & setup such as (Fortinet)
Load Balancer configuration & setup such as (Peplink)
Routers & switches configuration & setup such as (Cisco)
Backup systems configurations & setup such as (Synology)
Odoo ERP system configuration & setup ( on ubuntu server )
ubuntu OS & server configuration & setup
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Proficiency in English
