Instrumentation Engineer
Responsibilities
Reviews Client’s technical documentation and requirements.
Prepares Techno-Commercial offers with the help of internal team
Controls of subcontracted discipline engineering documents.
Defines engineering requirements.
Prepares the technical documentation for instrumentation and systems requisitions and performs the technical evaluations.
Provides technical support to Project group.
Optimizes instrument systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.
Prepares specifications for instruments, systems (DCS, ESD, F&G) and installation.
Implements instrument detail design on P&ID’s.
Prepares instrument data sheets and loop diagrams.
Prepares instrument material take-off.
Develops and maintains relation with suppliers
Ensure to procure instrumentation system as specified
Preparing engineering technical solutions and client testing requirements
Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree with specialization in instrumentation, chemical or mechanical engineering
Can present a working experience as instrumentation engineer in oil and gas industry of at least 4 years
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of English language; 2nd language is a plus
Knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry is an advantage;
Knowledge with Engineering Standards such as API, NFPA, ASME, NEMA, IEC, , etc.
Basic knowledge on OEMs from different regions
Analytical and mathematical mind, capable of evaluating and solving complex problems
Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline driven environment
Computer and Internet research savvy is a must; Proficient with MS Office Applications and Software
