Lead the inventory section in maintaining high levels of parts availability and share information regarding spare parts orders, arrivals, ETA etc. with other departments.
Monitor lost sales and take corrective actions.
Monitor Parts service rates and stock turns.
Create reports showing the performance of the inventory department KPIs.
Monitor and amend if required Stocking Policy Quantities in Inventory Management System.
Generate stock orders as recommended by the manufacturer.
Recommend and prepare stock, special and emergency orders.
Monitor supersessions, amendments and discontinued parts numbers.
Revises order quantities as needed and prepares order reports.
Reconciles stock orders, and order responses.
Handle local and inter-Gulf purchase requirements.
Prepare offers for annual Government and local tenders.
Manage all electronic orders, data entry and reports through inventory assistants.
Act as a point of contact with suppliers.
Collaborate with the Service Departments for parts availability and issue of parts.
Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
