Job Brief:
IT Business Partner - SAP Material Management (Contractual Role for 3 - 6 months)
Candidate should be currently based in Qatar.
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant responsible to analyzes complex material management business problems to be solved with SAP and similar automated systems. Provides technical and functional expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements in the area of material management and supply chain. Should have strong configuration and integration knowledge in the area of material management, warehouse management, Quality management, plant maintenance and project systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Configures system settings independently as per the business requirements.
Prepare test scripts for all Business processes.
Plans and executes unit, integration and user acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
Design, configuration, and functional experience in the MM module.
Design and Develop the enhancement for new functionalities and validations.
Handling the level 2 support issues pertaining to Material Management.
Design and Develop the enhancement for new functionalities and validations.
Able to take end users training and preparation of end user documents.
Able to prepare scope document.
Able to understand the problems faced by customers, Troubleshooting the problems and suggest the corrective solutions in line with the agreed SLA (Service level Agreement).
Able to create of OSS messages related to material management.
Able to coordinate with the technical team for the issues requiring comprehension of functional requirements.
Able to in Year-end Activities like number range maintenance and verification of period end closing activities related to material Management.
Handle the level 2 support issues pertaining to Material Management.
Ability to understand business challenges and can translate into solutions.
Ability to interact with all levels and work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimum of supervision.
Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP MM/MDG/ARIBA.
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document user requirements.
Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy user’s needs.
Design, customize, configure and testing of SAP MM/MDG/ARIBA.
Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve problems.
Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.
Document functional designs, test cases and results.
Proactively identify and propose business process a system enhancements.
Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
Work self-directed and independently, may act.
