The IT executive will be responsible of managing / upgrading / securing windows
Servers, Internet Router / firewall, network switches (Cisco), IP telephone system,
wireless networking, network storage (Synology etc) ERP & finance software.
The IT executive will be entrusted with the Job of Installing and configuring computer
hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners. Monitoring and
maintaining computer systems and networks, troubleshooting different computer
issues, installing appropriate security measures. Responding in a timely manner to
service issues and requests. Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
upgrades of Client Systems including antivirus and PCs firewall. Setting up accounts
for new users and any other related issues that may come up. Providing technical
support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone). The role will
provide support to Zeenah and other group offices.
If there are any issues or changes required, such as forgotten passwords, viruses or
email issues, you'll be the first person employees will come to. The ideal candidate
will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-
solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality.
Attention to detail, High level of concentration and commitment, Interact with a wide range of customers and technical issues. Interpreting the staff's needs and sorting their issues.
Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and using / recommending to the department, things through which the business can be better served, etc.
Setting up of goals to increase your knowledge and awareness, prioritizing them based on the work requirements, acquiring skills / improving skills by attending training sessions and seminars (subject to approvals), engage in training and education, understand / receive on job training and knowledge from co-workers.
Learning & Testing new technology including Cisco, Microsoft, Mac OS X, Linux, ERP, Wireless networking, System and Network Security for mutual benefits.
