Maintains the computer networks of all types of organizations, providing technical support and ensuring it runs smoothly and solves technical issues as they arise.
Responsibilities:
•Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
•Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
•Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
•Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
•Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
•Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
•Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware.
•Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization.
•Support the implementation of new solutions or applications.
•Monitor system and network performance and organize maintenance activities (e.g. backups)
•Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT purchases (hardware, software and services) to ensure effective deployment of solutions aligned with user needs.
•Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults.
•Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components.
•Installing and upgrading anti-virus and firewall software.
•Checking computer equipment for electrical safety.
•Maintaining records of software licenses.
*Knowledgeable about data entry clerk as well
liaise with and follow up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect information.
Capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner.
Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
Ensuring data is backed up.
