As an Accountant at Sky Bridge Properties, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. You will work closely with the finance and management teams to help maintain financial accuracy, track revenue and expenses, and assist with strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Bookkeeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payab, and journals.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Accounts Payab, track, and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, ensure accuracy, and resolve any discrepancies.
Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for operational and strategic planning.
Audit Support: Support the company during internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary doentation is in place.
Expense Management: Review and approve employee expenses, ensuring that they align with company policies.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor company cash flow and make recommendations for improving cash flow management.
Real Estate Transactions: Process financial transactions related to property rentals, sales, and commissions.
Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with local real estate laws and financial regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additional certification is a plus.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
Knowledge of Real Estate: Familiarity with real estate financial transactions, property management accounting, and leasing and sales agreements.
