We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team in Dubai. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our culinary team in preparing and serving high-quality dishes to our customers. Your primary duties will include cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and seasoning ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen by cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly.
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to minimize the risk of contamination and ensure the safety of customers and staff.
Receive deliveries, check the quality and quantity of received items, and store them appropriately.
Assist with the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet the established standards.
Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management to support the efficient operation of the kitchen.
Prior experience working as a kitchen helper or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Excellent hygiene and sanitation practices.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
