The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. This position will also be responsible for managing the logistics team and ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating all logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of goods
• Planning and coordinating the transportation of goods to and from warehouses, ports, and other facilities
• Managing inventory levels and ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and accounted for
• Ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition
• Managing the logistics team and providing guidance and support as needed
• Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
• Ensuring that all logistics activities comply with local regulations and standards
• Implementing and maintaining logistics systems and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize logistics processes
• Managing budgets and ensuring that costs are controlled within established limits
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or similar role
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of logistics software and systems
• Experience managing a team
• Understanding of local regulations and standards
• Strong customer service skills
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
