A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the flow of raw materials and final products from suppliers to retailers and customers.
The Logistics coordinator is responsible for the inbound, and outbound shipments by sea, air, and land.
Responsible with all the shipments delivery on time.
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for managing and optimizing all the Logistics Outgoi Function for the business (Cost and Time).
•Liaises with Custom Department for clearing Bill of ent from Overseas & Local Supplie
•Processes the Customs Documentation for Inbound & outbound shipments by Sea, Air & Land for local & Overseas and ensure that all the documents are complete before clearing the items to avoid delays.
•Keeps records of all the impo documents
•Tracks, traces, and updates the status of the temporary import shipments
•Coordinates with the respective dept. (e.g. Purchasing Dept, Operation & Maintenance Div.) regarding the outgoing and incoming items)
•Responsible for customs duty deposit & timely submitting related documents for customs duty against Inbou shipments. Works closely with the operations team to Identify and resolve logistics related issues.
•Apply for Certificate of Origin and shipments related other approvals.
•Knowledge of Inbound and Outbound logistics process & customs formalities
•Strong Administrative and Organizing Skills / MS-Office.
•Effective Communication Skills.
•Time management and job prioritization.
•Pro-active, Dedicated, resilient, organized and excellent in problem-solving skills.
•Minimum Diploma or equivalent degree.
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics.
